Please read this Partner Evaluation Policy ("Policy") carefully. This document outlines how creddio.in ("Creddio", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Creddio Platforms (OPC) Private Limited, facilitates vehicle evaluations, doorstep inspections, and sales transactions through our network of certified car-buying partners.

By submitting your vehicle details, requesting an online valuation, or scheduling a doorstep inspection, you ("Seller", "you", "user") agree to the practices and terms outlined in this Policy, as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are & Our Marketplace Model

Creddio is an automotive technology and deal-facilitation platform. For car sellers in India, Creddio operates as an aggregator and matchmaking marketplace.

  • What Creddio Does: Creddio operates as an algorithmic valuation and matchmaking platform, calculating estimated fair market values based on user-submitted vehicle specifications and prevailing market resale data, and connecting vehicle owners with verified, certified used car buying partner networks to coordinate complimentary doorstep physical evaluations.
  • What Creddio Does Not Do: Creddio does not purchase vehicles directly, maintain an inventory of pre-owned cars, conduct physical inspections, or determine final purchase offers. All vehicle inspections, final pricing assessments, sales agreements, and payment disbursements are conducted independently by our certified buying partners.
  • Free for Sellers: Our online valuation estimates and doorstep inspection coordination services are 100% free of charge to vehicle owners with zero obligation to sell.

2. Certified Car-Buying Partner Network

To provide you with certified doorstep physical evaluations, fair market pricing, and instant payment on vehicle handover, Creddio shares your submitted vehicle specifications and basic contact details with authorized vehicle-buying partner networks.

Our partner ecosystem includes:

  1. Institutional Used-Car Platforms: Certified national car-buying networks.
  2. Authorized OEM Pre-Owned Divisions: Certified manufacturer pre-owned vehicle dealerships.
  3. Verified Regional Buyer Networks: Vetted, licensed pre-owned automobile dealers and direct buyers.

3. Doorstep Evaluation & Inspection Process

3.1 Inspection Booking & Scheduling

  • When you request a doorstep evaluation, your appointment is assigned to a certified evaluation engineer from our partner network based on your city, locality, and preferred time slot.
  • The evaluation takes place at your home, office, or preferred location and typically takes 30 to 45 minutes.

3.2 Multi-Point Technical Assessment

  • The inspecting partner conducts a comprehensive physical and mechanical evaluation covering engine health, transmission, chassis integrity, body panels, electricals, tyre condition, and odometer reading.
  • Vehicle documents (Registration Certificate, Insurance, PUC, and service history) will be verified for authenticity.

3.3 Zero Obligation

  • Doorstep inspections arranged through Creddio are completely free and carry zero obligation to sell. If you choose not to accept the final offer, no inspection fee or cancellation charge will be levied.

4. Valuation Estimates vs. Final Buy Offers

  • Online Algorithmic Valuation Range: The price range displayed on Creddio is an estimated fair market value computed using algorithmic depreciation models, regional market transaction trends, and historical demand based on user-provided vehicle details (year, make, model, variant, fuel type, transmission, ownership history, and kilometers driven).
  • Physical Inspection & Value Adjustment: The certified buying partner may value your vehicle higher or lower than the initial online estimate depending on actual physical and mechanical condition, paint/bodywork, structural integrity, service history records, market demand, and documentation authenticity discovered during the physical doorstep evaluation.
  • Independent Partner Pricing: Creddio does not set or guarantee final purchase offers. The final binding offer is determined solely by the independent certified purchasing partner under their own commercial valuation policies, criteria, and terms.

5. Transaction, Payment & RC Transfer

5.1 Direct Sale Transaction

  • If you accept a partner's purchase quote, the vehicle purchase agreement and transfer documentation are executed directly between you and the purchasing partner.
  • The sale is governed strictly by the independent inspection policies, commercial terms, and Terms of Service of the respective purchasing partner.

5.2 Same-Day Payout

  • Subject to the purchasing partner's operational policies and banking clearance hours, payment is credited directly to your verified bank account via instant digital transfer (IMPS/NEFT/RTGS) prior to or at the time of vehicle key handover.

5.3 100% Free RC Transfer & Seller Protection

  • Our certified partners manage the complete RTO transfer documentation and name transfer process at no cost to you, subject to vehicle documentation clearance (original RC, valid insurance, pollution certificate, and bank loan NOC where applicable).
  • You receive a formal delivery receipt and seller indemnity document upon vehicle handover, legally releasing you from future liability while RTO transfer is underway.

5.4 Operational Serviceability & Partner Policy Disclaimers

  • Same-day payout, complimentary doorstep evaluation, and 100% free RC transfer are subject to the independent partner's operational serviceability in your city/locality, successful document authenticity verification, and the respective purchasing partner's evaluation policies and terms.

6. Data Privacy & DPDP Act 2023 Compliance

Creddio processes your personal and vehicle data in strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

6.1 Itemised Data Collected

  • Personal Information: Full Name, 10-digit Mobile Number, City/Locality/Pincode.
  • Vehicle Information: Manufacturing Year, Brand, Model, Variant, Fuel Type, Transmission, Kilometers Driven, Ownership Count, and State/City of Registration.

6.2 Purpose of Processing

Your data is processed strictly to:

  1. Compute algorithmic fair market valuation estimates.
  2. Coordinate doorstep vehicle physical inspection.
  3. Transmit vehicle specifications to certified buyer partners to obtain binding purchase quotes.

6.3 Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard encryption, strict access controls, and secure APIs to safeguard your information. We do not sell your personal data to unauthorized third-party advertisers or telemarketers.

7. Your Rights & Consent Withdrawal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Review, update, or correct the personal data we hold about you.
  • Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time.
  • Request the deletion of your contact information and valuation history.
