Terms of Use
Last Updated: 08 October 2026
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using creddio.in ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a car valuation, or scheduling an inspection, you ("you", "user", "buyer", "seller") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Creddio.
1. Who We Are
Creddio is an automotive technology and deal-facilitation platform for car buyers and sellers in India:
- For Buyers: We help you discover and compare competitive deals from authorised automobile dealerships.
- For Sellers: We provide instant algorithmic market valuations and coordinate free doorstep inspections through certified vehicle-buying partner networks.
Legal entity: Creddio Platforms (OPC) Private Limited.
Registered address: Kochi, Kerala, India.
Contact: hello@creddio.in.
2. Eligibility
Creddio is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Indian law. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide services to, or collect data from, individuals under 18.
3. What Creddio Does and Doesn't Do
3.1 Buying a Car (Deal Facilitation)
- You submit your car preferences, budget, and contact details through our website.
- We forward your enquiry to authorised dealers for the relevant brand/model in your city to compete with competitive pricing.
3.2 Selling a Car (Valuation & Inspection Facilitation)
- You enter your car specifications to receive an estimated fair market value range.
- When you request a physical inspection, we coordinate a free doorstep evaluation with verified, certified vehicle-buying partner platforms.
- Detailed rules governing the selling process, physical inspection, price quotes, and RC transfer are set out in our Partner Evaluation Policy.
3.3 What We Are Not
- We are not a dealership or inventory buyer: Creddio does not maintain a physical stock of cars, does not buy vehicles directly, and does not sell, lease, or finance vehicles.
- We are not a party to the sale: Any transaction, negotiation, contract, payment, or RC transfer for a vehicle takes place directly between you and the respective dealer or certified buying partner.
- Valuation Estimates: Online price ranges displayed on Creddio are estimated algorithmic indicators. The final binding offer is determined solely after physical doorstep inspection by our certified buying partner.
3.4 Free for Buyers and Sellers
Our service is 100% free of cost for car buyers and car sellers. We do not charge fees for browsing, receiving valuations, or scheduling doorstep evaluations.
3.5 Newsletter & Editorial Insights
- You may subscribe to the Creddio email newsletter to receive automotive editorial content, car reviews, price drop alerts, and buying guides.
- Subscription is optional and free of charge.
- Content shared in our newsletter is for informational and educational purposes. Vehicle prices, incentives, or dealership promotions discussed in articles reflect market conditions at the time of publication and remain subject to change by respective authorized dealerships.
- You may withdraw your consent and cancel your newsletter subscription at any time using the "unsubscribe" link provided at the bottom of every newsletter email.
4. Your Responsibilities
By using Creddio, you agree that:
- You will provide accurate, current, and complete information in any form you submit (including vehicle condition and odometer readings).
- As a seller, you confirm you are the registered owner of the vehicle or duly authorised to initiate its valuation and inspection.
- You are responsible for verifying any offer, price, specification, or claim made by a dealer or buying partner before making a transaction decision.
- You will not use the website for any unlawful purpose, to submit false enquiries, to harass partners or our staff, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- You are solely responsible for any agreement, negotiation, payment, or dispute you enter into directly with a dealer or partner.
We reserve the right to refuse service, disregard an enquiry, or restrict access to our website if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
5. Dealers
Dealers who receive leads through Creddio are independent, authorised businesses and are not our employees, agents, or partners in a legal partnership sense. We take reasonable steps to onboard authorised dealers, but:
- We do not control, and are not responsible for, the conduct, pricing, sales practices, or after-sales service of any dealer.
- Any warranty, guarantee, or representation made by a dealer is solely between you and that dealer.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from your interaction or transaction with a dealer.
If you experience an issue with a dealer sourced through Creddio, please let us know at hello@creddio.in - while we cannot resolve commercial disputes on your behalf, we take dealer conduct seriously and may take action on our platform, including removing a dealer from our network.
6. Website Content
6.1 Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep car listings, specifications, pricing information, and blog/editorial content accurate and up to date. However:
- Car specifications, on-road prices, and availability change frequently and may vary by dealer, city, and time.
- Content is provided "as is" for general informational purposes and should not be treated as a final quote or binding offer.
- We recommend confirming all details directly with the dealer before making any purchase decision.
6.2 Intellectual Property
All content on Creddio - including text, graphics, logos, the Creddio name and branding, website design, and underlying code - is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use in the ordinary course of browsing our website.
6.3 Third-Party Content

7. Privacy and Data
Your use of Creddio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, why, how it is stored, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. By submitting a form on our website, you consent to the processing of your data as described in that Policy.
8. Communications
By submitting your contact details through our forms, you consent to being contacted by:
- Creddio, regarding your enquiry, offers, or service-related updates.
- Authorised dealers, regarding the specific enquiry you submitted, via phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting hello@creddio.in, as described in our Privacy Policy. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue processing an active enquiry.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Creddio, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or services.
- We are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction, negotiation, or dispute between you and a dealer, or from inaccurate information provided by a dealer or manufacturer.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website and are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime, technical errors, or data transmission issues.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Creddio, if any, shall not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid us directly - which, as a buyer using our free service, is typically nil.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creddio, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and any expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the website, or violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Third-Party Service Providers
Our website relies on third-party service providers to operate, including but not limited to Netlify, Supabase, Google, Zoho and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data issues caused directly by the failure of these third-party services, though we will take reasonable steps to address any impact on you.
12. Modifications to the Service
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Creddio - including features, listings, or the website itself - at any time, without prior notice, and without liability to you.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our website. Continued use of Creddio after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
