Skoda has updated the Slavia, and the changes go well beyond a new bumper. The sedan gets a sharper front end, a segment-first automatic gearbox option on the base engine, and a few features no rival in this class currently offers.
What’s new on the outside
The front end is the biggest visual change, borrowing design cues from the updated Kushaq. New LED headlamps sit above a reworked grille, and the rear gets redesigned LED taillamps with sequential indicators and a connecting light strip carrying Skoda lettering. The overall effect is a wider, sportier stance than the outgoing car.
The Monte Carlo trim continues to lead the sporty end of the lineup, now with dual-tone exterior colours, black exterior accents, and new wheel designs - one pattern exclusive to Monte Carlo alone. Skoda is also offering an Arctic Silver shade limited to 500 units, alongside a broader colour palette that includes a new Steel Gray and a Cherry Red carried over from the Kushaq.
Segment-first automatic gearbox
The bigger story is under the hood. The 1.0 TSI engine now comes with an eight-speed torque-converter automatic - a first for this segment in India - alongside the existing six-speed manual. The 1.5 TSI keeps its seven-speed DSG automatic and six-speed manual, and now adds rear disc brakes as standard.
Cabin and tech upgrades
Inside, the Slavia picks up a Rear Seat Massage function - another segment first - along with a 10.25-inch digital cockpit and a 10.1-inch touchscreen running wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment system adds an AI Companion built on Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent, tuned to recognise Indian English accents for voice control of music, calls, and climate settings.
Other additions include a 360-degree Area View camera, front parking sensors integrated into the bumper, ventilated seats on select trims, and cabin colour options that range from a burgundy-and-black theme on Monte Carlo to a lighter beige scheme on the other trims.
Safety
The Slavia carries a five-star Global NCAP rating for both adult and child occupant protection, with six airbags standard across the range and more than 25 active and passive safety features.

The lineup spans four trims - Classic, Signature, Prestige, and Monte Carlo - with a Sportline variant slotting in between, and Monte Carlo available from launch. Here’s the ex-showroom price list:
